Inspired by an everyday gesture – a hand on the shoulder to show support and encouragement – Shoulder Check is the first initiative of the #HT40 Foundation, which Hayden’s parents Rob Thorsen and Sarah Thompson founded in his memory. We all need to provide a regular check on our teammates, friends and those whom we love. You never know who might need that all important Shoulder Check!

Great New Venue
As we ring in the new year, Sacred Heart University (SHU) is putting the final touches on their beautiful, brand new Martire Family Arena located on the SHU West Campus. With only days to go, there still is some work to be done before the first Men's game on Jan. 14, 2023 against Boston College and first Women's game on Jan. 15, 2023 against Harvard, but you can tell it is going to be a great place to watch D1 college hockey!
